I didn't notice it when the hack came out (even though the description mentions it, oops), but the Mario sprites were redrawn to make them more proportionate with the classic style sprite, and it looks much nicer than in Version 1. and despite what I thought I would do, I actually played on the new graphics mode, not the old graphics mode. Bumping this thread to say that, after over a month, I finally got to play the new version of Land DX.
